2008 Climbing Season Has Begun

Route: Muir Snowfield to Camp Muir 10100′
We took the winter route up the Muir snowfield; great styrofoam snow conditions. Awsome views and a warm day. Right before Moon Rocks I left the group and pushed quickly on to Camp Muir. When we got to Muir a rescue was under way; a skier in a crevasse. We later saw a helicopter fly him off the mountain. Fast fun descent!
