Climb Description: Left Stuart Lake Trailhead at 5:00 am; hiked to Colchuck Lake within two hours. We ascended Colchuck Glacier to Colchuck Pass with good snow conditions. Once at the pass we experiaced strong cold winds. We climbed the low 2-3 class slopes to the summit of Colchuck Peak 8,705 feet. We opted out of climbing Dragontail due to high winds and tired legs.
